Parent Resources

The Child Care Resource & Referral Office is a FREE and CONFIDENTAIL child care referral service for Mesa County - just dial 2-1-1 or 970-244-8400. Child care specialists are available to assist parents in locating licensed quality child care. Our child care specialist will customize a list to fit the parents needs and will provide educational materials to help guide the parents on their search for child care.

Resources for Professionals

Services for early child care professionals include referrals to trainings and workshops and information on Accreditation programs, First Aid/CPR and administration of medication, universal precuations courses and more.
 
Find Child Care


The Child Care Resource & Referral Office maintains current listings of all state licensed child care centers and family child care homes, as well as listings for pre-schools, extended hours programs, and summer camp programs in Mesa County. There is no charge to parents who call looking for child care referrals. The Child Care Resource & Referral office is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Just call 2-1-1 or 970-244-8400 from a cell phone. Long distance? Call 1-877-338-CARE (2273)

The Colorado Division of Child Care keeps files on all licensed providers, including complaints and violations. To help in your decision on a child care provider you can go online at Colorado Department of Human Services Child Care Division to review (third paragraph, blue hyperlink) licensing histories, violations, and complaints. If you have a complaint about a provider you may call 1-800-799-5876.
